Vintage Large Sakiori Blanket

A large, heavy-duty blanket crafted in multicolor "sakiori" weaving — one of Japan's ultimate upcycling traditions. Old, worn-out fabrics are shredded into strips (saki) and woven (ori) anew, giving the material a second life.

This sakiori blanket is made from shredded cotton fabrics. In great condition, its thick, substantial weight makes it ideal as a bed covering or floor rug.
