COSMIC WONDER with Kogei Punks Sha NONO: The Homeland of Paper and Cloth

The catalogue for an exhibition held at the Iwami Art Museum, Shimane, in March 2021, published two years after it closed. Taking as its starting point the natural fibre cloths still made in regions across Japan, the project looks at how people's lives, their sense of nature and their spiritual outlook have formed together with the land itself Ñ and asks what the relationship between people and nature might become.
