Aya Fujioka Life Studies

Drawn from snapshots taken in New York over five years from 2007, revisited and re-edited long afterward. Moving between interiors and the street, Fujioka wanders with a diasporic gaze, registering light and noise, and individuals adrift from society. Layered narratives rise from these fragments, and time is woven again.
