All Natural Indigo Dye Kit

Developed by a Japanese manufacturer of Yamato Indigo, the All Natural Indigo Dye Kit is a unique blend of three natural indigo dyes: Sukumo, a Japanese indigo derived from Polygonum; Ma-ai, made from pink Strobilanthes; and Indian Indigo, sourced from Indigofera tinctoria.

This kit can dye up to 200 g of cotton, linen, or silk, producing shades that range from light to medium blue. It is best suited for small, lightweight items.

40 g limestone powder
40 g glucose powder
60 ml 30% pure vinegar
One pair of latex gloves

You will need

2–3 buckets (approx. 10 liters each)
1 bucket (approx. 20 liters)
1 bowl (approx. 5 liters)

2 liters of hot water
1 liter of warm water
