Handcrafted from vintage Japanese fabric, this one-of-a-kind pillow combines two types of intricate katazome (stencil-dyed) cloth, over 100 years old. One panel depicts crane medallions (tsurumaru), symbolizing longevity and good fortune, while the other features a flowing karakusa vine pattern, a symbol of prosperity and the unbroken continuity of a family line. Dyed in deep indigo and faded beautifully over time, it is a wonderful accent piece that brings a sense of history into your home.
