Zanshi-ori (残糸織り) is a weaving technique that uses leftover threads—remnants from other weaving projects that would otherwise be discarded. The result is a textile whose color and pattern are determined by chance as much as intention, each piece entirely unique.

This fabric consists of four plain-weave panels in a harmonious blend of light brown and indigo yarns, with a subtle pink accent that adds warmth and variation. Unlike sakiori (which uses torn fabric strips), zanshi-ori works with intact threads, producing a finer, more nuanced surface.

A textile with a quiet philosophy behind it: nothing is wasted, and beauty can come from what remains.
