After Treatment Kit — Pure Vinegar & Fixative

Pure Vinegar & Fixative Specially formulated for use with Yamato Indigo. Instructions included.

Step 1: Vinegar Bath
Dilute the vinegar with 2–3 parts water and stir well. After dyeing your garment in Yamato Indigo and rinsing it thoroughly in water, submerge it in the vinegar solution for 1–5 minutes. Gently stir and massage the fabric to ensure it is fully saturated. Wring out well, then rinse thoroughly with water.

Step 2: Fixative Bath
Dissolve 10–20 ml of Fixative per liter of water and stir well. After completing the vinegar step and rinsing the garment thoroughly, submerge it in the fixative solution for 5 minutes. Gently stir and massage the fabric to ensure it is fully saturated. Wring out well and hang to air dry — do not rinse.

About the Fixative
The Fixative is designed to enhance and lock in the Yamato Indigo color, helping to prevent color transfer and rubbing. Please note that once treated with the Fixative, the fabric cannot be re-dyed.
