Throw - Zanshi-Ori

A throw made of vintage zanshi-ori (残糸織り) fabric from Japan.

Zanshi-ori is a weaving technique that uses leftover threads — remnants from other weaving projects that would otherwise be discarded. The result is a textile whose color and pattern are shaped as much by chance as by intention, each piece entirely unique with a nuanced checker pattern.

This nearly 100-year-old cotton has softened beautifully against the skin, making it a perfect throw.
